File, Folders and the Cloud with Christina Drain

LEarn how to make miles and folders and navigate through FIle Explorer in Windows 10 to organize your work. We will also discuss several options for saving and storing your work in the cloud so you can access it anywhere. Bring your own laptop to customize, or use one of the library's laptops.

Internet research can yield great finds, but most local records are not digitized yet. Learn where to search in Richland and Crawford counties to discover local land records, birth, death, and probate records. The session is conducted from 9 a.m. to noon, and includes an hour talk, followed by two hours of independent research.

Fear not, WIndows 10! Join us from 6 to 8 p.m. to learn Windows 10 basics as well as what's new - using the Start menu and downloading apps, talk to Cortana, how to use the Action Center, and web browsing with Microsoft Edge. Bring your own laptop to customize, or use one of the library's laptops.
